“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy
fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that
thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou
hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory
and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou
hast put all things under his feet”. Psalms 8.3-6
When we look at the earth, the world, and
everything in it, heavens, so high that no matter how much it is in
"heaven" it is impossible to touch it; When we are travelling by
plane, we see the sky so high, and even above the clouds, yet the sky is
distant, that sea of cotton with the sun shining, bright and strong,
illuminating the earth, so far from the planet, and yet , Its rays feed the
soil so that the plants are born and give us the necessary food, its rays warm
the day. The moon and stars at night, illuminate the earth so that we are not
left to the darkness, the rivers and seas that give us water and food, the
wonderful landscapes we see and enjoy every day, how many beautiful things on Earth?
All God's work, everything given to the human being to care for, and we see how
many human beings have destroyed everything, yet God takes care of us. All that
God created, is for our life; Food, light, water to quench thirst, rain to
water the earth, and yet man was created in the image and likeness of God, and
was placed to take care of all creation. God is wonderful in every moment, in
each gesture, to prove His love for us. And what have we done to repay this
master? When we are in a relationship, loving, of friendship, between parents
and children, we always expect in return the reciprocity of the dedication and
love that we give, God also expects of us the reciprocity in the love that He
has for each one of us, the only thing that the Lord wants from us is to love
Him as He loved us, and to accept Him in our lives. We don’t need to do anything
else, just invite Him to be part of our lives and receive the love that He has
to give us.
